Dark shadows of a team of young boys playing volleyball on a beach with the backdrop of the setting sun is a common scene in all parts of Kerala. Kerala’s love for the game of volleyball is well known. This game is played actively along the sandy beaches of the coastal state. Jimmy George, the volleyball legend is from Kerala. The promoters thought that starting a league to formalize this passion and provide an integrated platform to bring volleyball players and sports lovers together would be a great idea and this thought led to the germination of the Kerala Volleyball League.

KVL - Overview:
The Kerala Volleyball League (KVL) is a world class volleyball league that will be organized every year in the state of Kerala. It is a first such initiative in India in the world of volleyball. It is organized by SportzConsult, a premier sports management firm in association with Kerala Sports Volleyball Association. The KVL will attract the finest talent available in India. All Top level Indian players who play internationally will participate. Initially, there will be 6 franchises across 6 cities in Kerala.
